It helps analysts understand a supply chain’s behavior, predict possible failures, and formulate contingency plans. In addition, Supply Chain Digital Twins can assist with bottleneck discovery, identifying and monitoring risks, transportation planning, inventory optimization, forecasting and testing operational scenarios.

Anglicotech is assisting the Marine Corps Deputy Commandant, Installations & Logistics in implementing Artificial Intelligence (AI) enabled, data-driven Supply Chain forecasting processes and communicating repair consumption data to the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). The goal is to aggregate data from the point of consumption to DLA, establish a demand baseline for the Marine Corps to wargame global inventory plans, and optimize the supply chain network across the Force. The concept of Supply Chain Illumination at scale can significantly reduce risk.

The Marine Corps Logistics Command’s (LOGCOM) mission is to provide worldwide, integrated logistics and distribution management, depot level maintenance management and strategic prepositioning capability in support of the operating forces. The LOGCOM Quality Management Center (QMC) provides policy review, quality control inspections, process improvements, and change management throughout all LOGCOM operations, with the goal of meeting the emerging needs of the 21st Century while eliminating deficiencies and waste.

Anglicotech performed a comprehensive review and revision of the QMC’s management strategies, processes and tools, while specifically providing remedies for known deficiencies such as: lack of policy oversight, poor compliance, lack of reliable information systems, lack of accountability for weapons and equipment inventories, ineffective management and training.
