It has been awhile since I last wrote a blog, it is becoming increasingly difficult to find time for the more expressive portions of being an entrepreneur. This blog; in particular, may rant, run long, or even bore you, but what it will not do is give any person the opportunity to say I have not shared my world view.
One of the first blogs I wrote was entitled edification, In that blog – I articulated what I felt it meant to be in business. This blog deviates a little from my previous vantage point, however, I still have my first blog in the peripherals of thought. I was posed a question from a peer of mine. He asked, “Marquis, what is your philosophy on business?” At first I had a dumbfound look smeared across my face, I mean how do I answer this? Does he mean in a metaphorical vaporous statement that makes me seem more mysterious and pensive than I really am? I let the question sink deep within my mind – slowly I saw the light…this blog is the expansive view of my thoughts that day.
My philosophy on business is about bridging the gap. It is about establishing and enhancing the relationships that one creates. Moreover, it is about allowing one’s strengths fill the void of another’s deficiencies, while being open enough to allow the virtues of others to flow and suffuse with one’s weaknesses. American or Chinese, black or white, republican or democrat, married or single, it does not matter. We all share this planet, and together we as a species have clawed our way through every calamity this place has thrown at us. Together is the only way we can conquer our differences, our problems, and our issues in life and business. Each acting as two blades of iron that when struck against each other sharpens BOTH blades. My philosophy is currently in use in the technology field. Connecting the disfranchise industries within the; I.T. , low voltage and telecommunications sectors to be exact. Each are mutually dependent on one another, but speak different dialects of the the language.
Each and every day firms access to IOT is not straightforward and subtle. Logical engineering of the sort most cannot fathom was done to allow Joey access to YouTube videos. What I yearn to convey in this blog is the importance of mutually dependent technologies that allow us to live our modern life. If anyone of these areas I spoke of experience failure, our way of life as we know it will collapse – and chaos larger than what the mind can hold will ensue.
While I do not know much, and I scrap at the great mountains others have created before me. I have high hopes that each and everyone one of the members involved in getting technology in the palm of our hands; will hear my message of unity in their own community. My desire is that these industries will coalesce with one another, and realize how dependent they are on each other. At the end of the day – we are all sisters and brothers in this journey together.
